ATCO Fire Protection was established in 1977 to service the design needs of contractors developers and design professionals architects ann engineers.

In 1982 the ATCO Fire protection Design Group transformed the original name of ATCO Fire Protection into Tiroly and Associates, Fire Protection Consultants & Designers, in order to preserve our uniqueness in the field of fire protection design and consulting. This establishes our lifetime commitment to quality service and presenting our motto,
            “We find the Best Way!”

Our designers are uniquely qualified by education and experience to develop cost-efficient solutions to what are often unusual and confusing problems.

Seminars and on-line instructions are taken through the NFSA, AFSA and seminars presented by the Society of Fire Protection Engineers to improve our knowledge of current fire protection code requirements.

Arthur Tiroly, the principal, has actively engaged in fire protection consulting work since 1962. Initial training was with HPR Insurance carriers at IRI and Kemper. He became a state certified design specialist when the Ohio program began in 1983. He is also a NICET Level 3, SET and a Professional Member at the SFPE for over 35 years. Mr. Tiroly’s extensive code expertise will help you make the right choice in sprinkler design required for code compliance.

Tiroly & Associates is a design service to satisfy the needs of architects, engineers, and contractors for the design of fire protection systems. “We find the Best Way”, to satisfy the code at reduced cost.

Sprinkler protection had an excellent history of reliability for fire control. State code requires that fire protection system design drawings, be approved by the Authority Having Jurisdiction, prior to installation of the equipment. ATCO/Tiroly designers are proficient at state certified plan preparation and hydraulic calculations necessary for installation of the systems that meet code and insurance requirements.

During project investigation and code search, we provide alternatives, which are more cost effective than may be apparent at the surface. We provide the most cost effective system design and alternatives to the owner for initial cost and insurance savings and value engineering to an engineered project. Annual testing of fire pump and sprinkler system equipment is an increasing service activity.
